SISMÓGRAFO'S LIBRARY OPENING

September marks the launch of the Sismógrafo Library. Here, you’ll be able to study, deepen your knowledge of contemporary art in general and exhibitions in particular, or simply spend more time. This new addition also aims to give greater physical presence to the editorial programme that Sismógrafo has been developing since its inception, and to establish itself as a space for three-dimensional editorial experimentation. A new space dedicated to reading and books—freely accessible, open to the community, and constantly evolving!

The Sismógrafo Library has been made possible with support from the Bonfim Parish Council’s Collaborative Budget, as well as donations from authors, institutions, and art galleries, to whom we are sincerely grateful. The book catalogue will continue to grow in dialogue with our programme, and with the questions and themes that challenge and nourish our spirit.

As part of the opening events, a new Sismógrafo edition will be launched: the book Visit [Country] by Carlos Azeredo Mesquita, designed by the studio Macedo Cannatà.
