The lights used in this installation may be disturbing for people with light sensitivity.
A voice walks through an architectural space enclosed in itself. A performer positions himself in front of this space. Everything stalls in unison, as if loading up the next step, the next movement. Karle: Dialogues stems from a blend of film scenes interpreted by a single voice. Together with a video and a performer, it questions the discursive dimensions of cinematic heroes from recent decades, leading us through a labyrinth where everything seems to become more digital than it really is.
Pedro Huet (1993) is an artist who lives and works in Porto. His artistic practice has developed around narrative webs that use video, photographic, or sculptural objects to reflect on structures, discourses, or imagery shaping how we live and organize ourselves. He has collaborated with several independent spaces. Since 2016, he has been part of the Sismógrafo team. He has been exhibiting, collectively and individually, since 2015.
